Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other countries, including processing and reconciling payroll data, calculating tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor payroll processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures in accordance with evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, tax, and legal teams to ensure compliance with global payroll policies and standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments, taxes, and benefits in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll-related data in HRIS or other payroll processing systems.
- Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide support to HR and finance teams in responding to payroll-related queries and escalations.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements across different regions.
- Experience with payroll processing systems and technologies, such as ADP, Paychex, Oracle HCM, or SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with blockchain and crypto industry preferred.
